Simon Deschênes is the Office Leader and Retirement Leader in Mercer’s Winnipeg office.

 

In his role as Office Leader, Simon is ultimately accountable for Mercer’s services in the Winnipeg market. He has more than 10 years of retirement consulting experience and advises small and large clients on the design, strategy and cost management of their pension plans.

 

Simon has a bachelor's degree in actuarial sciences from Laval University and has been a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries since 2008. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder since in 2012.

Brenda Venuto

Vice President, Member Services, Teachers' Retirement Allowances Fund (TRAF)

 

Brenda is responsible for the delivery of benefit information and communications to more than 36,000 active, former and retired members of TRAF.  She is also responsible for the management of member records and employer services.

 

Brenda began her career with TRAF in 1982 after graduating from the University of Winnipeg.  She also holds a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation and a certificate in Pension Plan Administration through Humber College.
