Tracy MacLeod received her Masters of Social Work in Clinical SOcial Work from Dalhousie University in Halifax NS. She has acquired 23 years of experience with children and families; group facilitation; trauma debriefings; crisis intervention; critical incident consultation and liaison interaction with a wide variety of community organizations. 

Tracy has facilitated hundreds of interventions with individuals, employees and community groups. She provides ongoing risk assessments and has worked with a wide range of people, including individuals who suffer from anxiety, depression, PTS and PTSD. Over the years she has facilitated educational workshops on a variety of topics including the Province of Alberta's impaired druving program; depression/anxiety; meditation; restless sleep and stress; understanding stress and building resiliency; best practices for finding fulfillment at work and understanding intergenerational teams. Her clinical interests are completing her certification as a Trauma Specialist through the Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists; completing her PhD studies.

In today's society, there remains a lack of awareness and sometimes bias regarding mental health problems. This wellness session will assist participants in enhancing their understanding of the personal and environmental factors which can have an impact onmental health; the common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges and the most appropriate prevention and intervention strategies.
