JONES DesLauriers Blevins and Adminplex Resource Services Inc. we have an exciting opportunity for a:

 Group Retirement Client Representative and Administrator

Reporting to the Senior Retirement Consultant, this position will support the Group Retirement business within JONES DesLauriers Blevins servicing a very active book of clients. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment both client facing and in an administration role. As part of the team, the core objective is to maintain a high level of proficiency in the retirement industry while exceeding expectations with each client interaction.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated and interested in a career in the Retirement Industry. You have a College or University degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2 - 3 years of working experience in the Retirement Industry ideally with client interactions. Alternatively your experience has been in the Financial Planning or Insurance Industry. You may have experience working with group retirement plans including pensions, RRSPs and DPSPs.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Liaise between the client and the recordkeeper regarding on-going service issues; plan questions, etc.
Manage the daily service requirements as part of the service commitment to the retirement clients
Co-ordinate employee education meetings and assist with preparations
Communication of legislative changes to clients; research and draft content for newsletter, work with Marketing to edit and publish
Complete Master Application/Amendment as required (prepared with Consultant) and submit to the recordkeepers
Work with the recordkeeper to implement plan changes and amendments
Co-ordinate administrative education
Respond to inquiries from Members and Clients via email and phone
Process enrollment forms and termination packages
Confirm information for the recordkeepers
Preparation, verification and regulatory filing of Annual Information Returns, Form 7’s & Form 21’s
Bilingual, French and English an asset
