This position reports to the Manager, Client Service, Central Regional Sales.

Location: Toronto, ON

Overview of Responsibilities
· Working with our Account Executives, Account Managers and our internal partners, the Senior Client Service Representative will be the face of GSC to our customers and plan advisors.
· Speak regularly with plan administrators and plan advisors in answering questions and problem solving their issues.
· Educate and empower clients and plan advisors on GSC processes and tools such as plan administration online.
· Play a key role in implementing new clients or plan amendments and facilitating unique enrolment and benefit administration requirements.
· Attend client meetings including new group implementations, employee meetings, problem solving sessions, and general relationship building events.
· Assist Account Executives and/or Account Managers with plan advisor meetings, including the sharing of GSC’s capabilities and our value proposition.
· Provide training, coaching and mentoring to Client Service Representatives.
· Run various reports out of the Advantage system as requested by clients, advisors, Account Executives and / or Account Managers.


Competencies and Qualifications
· Minimum of 8 years of experience in benefits and / or related industries.
· Understanding of benefit administration issues, claims processes, and group contracts / booklets.
· A passion for our customers and their plan members, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable representing GSC in various settings.
· Ability to problem solve and make decisions, and do so with a strong attention to detail.
· Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and be self-reliant, while having a focus first and foremost on the success of the team.
· Have a positive attitude, and enjoy learning from and teaching clients, internal partners, and teammates.
· Be a member of a highly effective TEAM.
· Committed, professional, and take ownership & accountability.
· Strive to achieve excellence and have fun.
· Valid driver's license
· Own vehicle would be an asset
