Session Description:

Historically, investors, including those involved in pension plans, have understood the relationship between risk and return, and have taken steps to attempt to minimize or even eliminate some of those risks.   However, some of the risks that investors have identified over time are seeing dramatic change as the global markets swing on a daily basis.

Today, two particular risks are front and centre in many people’s thinking: Currency and Volatility

This session will explore the question:  Are risks still risks, or are they now opportunities?   We will dive into this question in depth as it relates to currency and volatility, featuring commentary by two experts that walk through this with their clients every day. Their presentation will include suggestions on what pension plan sponsors and administrators should be looking out for.

Please join us as Luc de la Durantaye and Benoit Labrosse share their thoughts on this topic.  There will be ample time at the end for questions, as we’re sure their presentation will generate some lively debate.
