We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team to help manage our growth while maintaining the level of care that makes us unique. At Hillcrest no job is too grand or too menial; the team works closely together, and we don’t let our egos get in the way. Your opinion matters here, and we will make sure you aren’t too busy to be creative and provide exceptional customer care.


  • This is a full-time position that involves a diverse range of work and opportunity. The scope of responsibilities would include:
  • Assist with the oversight, care and attention for clients – being proactive and solving problems as they arise
  • Together with your team, ensure that the Hillcrest Service Agreement is delivered
  • Assist with the delivery and presentation of quarterly reports, renewals, employee meetings, special projects and retirement/pension plan governance
  • Quarterback special projects, such as marketing exercises, surveys, market research, and communication pieces
  • Support new business initiatives including creation of marketing specifications, reviewing carrier proposals and providing recommendations to clients and prospective clients
  • Assist with operations of the firm including luncheon seminars, social media, and representing Hillcrest to our clients, insurers and industry partners

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • A high degree of focus, persistence and follow through
  • Detail oriented, analytical, technical, and particular
  • Able to juggle many projects and prioritize as needed
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience in Publisher is an asset.
  • Benefit and Retirement experience is an asset, but if you are the right person we can teach you
  • Ability to travel, including the occasional early morning or evening meeting
  • An excellent sense of humor
  • Cheerful and professional
  • Desire to thrive in a close-knit team
