Human Resources Information Systems Coordinator
Temporary Appointment for Approximately 15 months
Regina Head Office

As part of the Human Resource Payroll team, you are accountable for ensuring the Corporate Human Resources Management System is developed and maintained to meet the business information needs of the WCB.  Coordinates and facilitates the management of Human Resources data and payroll information.  Develops, implements and administers system processes and procedures related to HR and Payroll information.  Analyzes HRIS system and payroll discrepancies to determine the problem sources and develops and implements solutions.


Qualifications include two years (2) successfully completed post secondary education in payroll (CPA), taxation, employee benefits, and accounting, supplemented with three (3) years successful experience demonstrating the ability to do the following:

  • Demonstrated ability to apply computer system capabilities to a complete range of human resources functions.
  • Knowledge of HR and payroll computer system capabilities and Canadian Payroll processing.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining CRA Payroll Guidelines, EI, SGEU, P.E.B.A. & Labour Standards and all applicable deductions.
  • Experience in designing payroll test scripts, HR and payroll reports, and payroll and HR year-end processing.
  • Advanced spreadsheet ability.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several major tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply accounting principles to the computerized payroll and ensure the general ledger payroll accounting is functioning in accordance with Financial Services systems.

Canadian Payroll Association designation would be an asset.

Annual Salary Range:  $48,947.08 to $62,449.66
