The Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation is currently seeking an analyst to join our investment team in Saskatoon. The STF investment team manages one of the largest investment portfolios in Saskatchewan on behalf of the teachers in the province. The team is actively focused on building its alternative investment platform which includes real estate, infrastructure and private equity. This position will support the private market investments program including manager sourcing, investment due diligence, and performance monitoring.

Typical responsibilities include: conducting due diligence on new managers and investment strategies and developing related recommendations; providing input into the development of the portfolio management strategy; and making manager onsite visits as required. Requirements:

The successful candidate will have an undergraduate/graduate degree in commerce, economics/finance or related field combined with 3-5 years of related experience. A professional designation in the field of investment services is an asset. Knowledge of financial markets and investment performance standards is a definite requirement.
