Reporting to the National Business Development VP, the RVP, with the support of other key members, is accountable for overall business development, client retention and financial performance for the group benefits distributed through consultants and brokers. The successful candidate facilitates partnerships with key business executives and provider corporate leadership to all employees of the Toronto office through building and implementing business development strategies and creating business synergies with current and prospective clients.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate

Is a strong and effective leader with excellent communication skills and the drive to set goals and overachieve them. Together with his/her unprecedented sales, communication and management skills, he/she will deliver not only superior customer service experience, but employee experience as well.

This individual has a university degree in a related field, a minimum of 10 years experience in sales specifically in group insurance sector. He/she will also have a strong background in leading and managing teams.
