With the continued growth and transformation of the organization, BCI recognizes that its clients must be at the core of everything it does. As such, the organization has recently realigned the client services team to provide greater focus to client relationship management. The opportunity now exists for a Manager, Client Relations to join the organization with a mandate to maintain and strengthen partnerships with BCI’s clients.

Reporting to the Director, Client Services, the Manager, Client Relations leads the relationship management for a set of BCI’s key pension fund clients. He/she will be expected to foster a client-centric focus providing support, broad advice and act as a client advocate internally within the firm. While the Manager, Client Relations will be expected to bring a strong knowledge of investments, he/she will leverage internal and external resources and work closely with the Investment Consultant team to provide counsel and support on reporting and presentations.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced relationship or business development manager who has a track record building and maintaining positive relationships with an institutional client base. This experience could have been gained in an asset or investment management firm, consulting or in a capacity where you have had to sell products/services to institutional clients. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required, as is the ability to problem solve, negotiate complex resolutions, and truly ‘know your client’.

An undergraduate degree in commerce, business, finance or economics.  Completion of the CFA Institute Investment Foundations Program is preferred.
