SSQ Insurance is seeking an experienced and outstanding Sr. Customer Service Representative to manage and provide the highest quality of service to our Western Canada clients and future clients.  As a Sr. Customer Service Representative, you would be able to work from home full-time and get the opportunity to travel across Western Canada. This is a client facing role that includes; training clients on our group benefits, administration and software, deliver education sessions, participate in new business presentations and create customized solutions to client issues. 

What you will be doing:

  1. Deliver professional and trusted service to Consultants, Brokers and Clients.
  2. Develop and implement personalized solutions that are adapted to the Consultant’s, Broker’s or Client’s realities.
  3. Meet Consultants, Brokers and/or Clients independently to review and explain administrative and claims procedures.
  4. Responsible for developing and providing extensive training on the Company’s group benefits administration software to Consultants, Brokers and clients.
  5. Assist Consultants, Brokers and clients to help resolve claims, premiums and billings issues.
  6. Work in collaboration with the client, the sales team and the various departments during the implementation of new accounts/clients.
  7. Build solid relationships both internally and externally and foster customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  8. Offer proactive and strategic assistance to Consultants, Brokers and Clients in analyzing, reporting and resolving problems related to operational activities.
  9. Educate proactively our Consultants, Brokers and Clients on new products and provide education sessions to clients’ inquiries when needed.
  10. Develop, coordinate and deliver to plan member education sessions, wellness fair and other plan member activities as required by Consultants, Brokers and clients.
  11. Attend and participate to finalist presentations for new business.
  12. To carry out any other task, as required.
Requirements:

 What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business management or a relevant field. GBA or CEBS is an asset.
  • 5 to 7 years of external customer service experience in the group insurance industry.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and access to a car.
  • Ability to travel across British Columbia, and Nationally as needed.
  • Passion for customer service and problem solving.
  • Ability to persuade a crowd with your excellent presentation and negotiating skills.
  • Great understanding of issues related to specialized/group insurance plans in Ontario & Western Canada.
