Virtual Wine Tasting Event!

Join us for an interactive & fun virtual wine tasting experience, where award-winning sommelier, Sean Nelson, spills all his grape secrets. Together, we will taste a classic set of 4 wines during a 1-hour blind tasting session. We look forward to seeing and hearing you at this much needed social occasion!

Please register in order to receive your set of wines. Please choose one of the delivery or pickup options, noting the time. In this way, we can all enjoy the same flavors during this guided tasting session, and CPBI update. The event is limited to 30 Members.

Master Sommelier. Forbes calls it the “world’s toughest test”, the Holy Grail for wine professionals. Currently, there are only 236 of these dedicated individuals in the world, and Sean Nelson is well on his way to become a Master Sommelier. In his first attempt, Sean passed the Advanced Sommelier Examination to become Western Canada’s youngest Advanced Sommelier. While at Vij’s Restaurant, he was awarded Platinum at the Vancouver Wine Festival Wine List Awards of Excellence in 2016, 2017, and 2018. He was featured in Wine Enthusiast Magazine’s Top 10 Wine Restaurants in Canada. Finally, Sean was crowned BC Sommelier of the Year by the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers in 2018. He now works as part of the wine team for Hawksworth Restaurant and also consults for private clients through his company Somm Wine Guy Consulting. Need we say more?
