The research clearly shows that Employee Engagement is a competitive advantage - organizations with an engaged workforce out perform those with non-engaged workforces with 22% higher profitability, 21% better productivity, and 41% reduction in absenteeism.
The challenge is that engagement takes time and most organizations focus on the wrong things.
