Our Presenter:

Randall Bartlett, Senior Director of Canadian Economics, Desjardins Group

Based in Toronto, Randell leads a team covering the Canadian and provincial economies & housing markets outside of Quebec, as well as government budgets & fiscal policy. Before coming to Desjardins, Mr. Bartlett was the Director of Economic Research on OMERS' Total Portfolio Management Team, where he was responsible for global economic research and forecasting. Prior to that, he was the Chief Economist at the Institute of Fiscal Studies and Democracy, where he published Canadian economic, fiscal, and policy analysis. He has also held positions at PSP Investments, TD Economics, the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer and the federal Department of Finance.

Questions for the presenter may be submitted in advance during online registration.

One continuing education credit in partnership with the Insurance Council of Manitoba or the Saskatchewan Insurance Council will be offered. A certificate of attendance will be issued upon request. A short quiz must be completed at the conclusion of the session in order to qualify for a CE Certificate.

  


Peter has been a Senior Pharmacy Consultant with The Co-operators since September 2019.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from The University of Saskatchewan in 1999 and completed his Accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency 2002.

Peter has 21 years of experience in pharmacy and during that time he has been a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents. He has also spent time teaching nursing and medical students about prescription drugs.

Peter started his career as a compounding pharmacist in Saskatoon SK and Moncton NB while in school and then for 3 years after graduating. In 2002, he completed a one year Residency in Hospital Pharmacy in Regina and then worked for the Saskatchewan Health Authority for a total of 10 years as a pharmacist specializing in anemia management in Chronic Kidney Disease and Gastroenterology Disease while also working in Hemodialysis, Kidney Transplant Clinic, Adult and Neonatal Intensive Care, Cardiac Care, and other areas of the hospital.

In 2012, Peter became a partner in Rubicon Pharmacies where he operated Pioneer Village Pharmacy and created Rubicon Health Solutions.

Eight years later upon the sale of Rubicon Pharmacies, Peter joined Cooperators as a Senior Pharmacy Consultant.
