Speaker Claude Marchessault has been practising pension and benefits law for over 25 years. He advises employers in the public and private sectors about pension, trust, benefit and compensation issues and guides them in their dealings with unions, regulators, consultants and other industry professionals. A frequent speaker on the topic, Claude is a former adjunct professor of law for the Faculty of Law at the University of Victoria and has taught pension law and plan governance for over 19 years for Humber College. Without excellent administration in benefits plan management, more time may be spent fixing the issues that happen and, in the worst-case situation, lead to expensive legal fees when litigation ensues. Barb Higgs, Customer Administration Assistant at TRG Group, along with Julia Hillman, Senior Service Representative from Great-West Life, will lead a lively discussion in this important area of plan management. In this session, the Executive Director of the Canadian Drug Insurance Pooling Corporation will assist participants in gaining an understanding of this new high cost drug pooling mechanism for fully insured groups in Canada. *Student pricing is available to CPBI members who have student status.

The Music Man is a Broadway classic: the story of a charming con man Harold Hill, who sets out to scam the townspeople of River City, Iowa by posing as a marching band organizer who will keep their kids out of trouble if they give him money for instruments and uniforms. Unexpectedly, Harold meets his match in prim Marion the librarian...but the course of true love (and deception) never did run smooth, and hilarity ensues, accompanied by a succession of timeless songs, from "Ya Got Trouble" and "Seventy-Six Trombones" to "Gary Indiana" and "Till There Was You" (all from the pen of Meredith Willson). Like TITANIC (the other Musical TUTS is presenting this year), The Music Man is set exactly one hundred years ago in 1912; also like Titanic, it won five Tony Awards during its first Broadway run (50 years ago), including Best Musical. TUTS is excited to bring this delightful, memorable show to Stanley Park this summer. The show will start at 8:00PM. If you are inviting a guest, please use the spouse pricing.
