National Webinar - Not everything that counts can be counted

January 28, 2016 1:00 PM to 2:00 PMOnline
Area of Interest: Investments Format: Web

OVERVIEW

Canadian institutions are increasingly feeling pressure to satisfy the short-term expectations of investors, board members and others.

In this session, Christine Girvan, Managing Director at MFS Investment Management, looks at how asset owners and asset managers can be more aligned with overcoming the growing prevalence of short-term thinking.

Christine will provide a look at the research surrounding today’s industry issues and share her thoughts on why investors would be better off focusing on “difficult-to-measure” factors, like culture and team dynamics.
