| The seminar focuses on the importance of resilience in organizations. As companies have undergone downsizing and are now re-strategizing, dealing with the challenges in the marketplace and the issue of resilience has become more important than ever. As group benefit consultants, we are passionate about helping employers manage resilience in terms of costing on their group benefit programs and in this session we look at some interesting case studies in terms of how a number of organizations (Sun Life and NAV Canada) further integrated resilience within their organizations including Mental Health Peer Support programs that not only allowed for a more resilient organization but also impacted costs in terms of lowering disability claims. The importance of good resources in terms of claims adjudication, Employee Family Assistance Programs (EFAPs) and how a strong culture can create further resilience within your organization is also discussed. | |
