Kevin McFadden, a Winnipeg based benefits advisor and author, recently published a benefits book because he could not find anything comparable in the marketplace. His book "Bubble Wrap - The Benefits Book" was written because Kevin believed employers needad a simple, approachable and easy to read "untextbook" to navigate the complicated waters of employee benefits. With his book Kevin hopes to provide the reader with a useful reference to help make good decisions as they relate to company sponsored benefit programs.
Joining Kevin in a panel setting is Terry Otchenash, Director of Human Resources at Cabela's Canada. Terry sat on the book advisory committee that helped Kevin frame the content of his book. Together their presentation will cover topics that relate to their professional experiences spanning many years with a specific focus on benefits, group retirement, culture and attracting and retaining top talent. They will also be addressing the benefit advisor/client relationship, how benefits fit into compensation and new emerging benefit trends.
