In September 2004, Prime Minister Paul Martin and Canada’s premiers agreed to establish a Ministerial Task Force to consider a National Pharmaceutical Strategy. Pharmaceutical policy has become one of the most important and contested domains of health system management – a rise in prominence largely due to financial realities.
So what’s happened since then and what does this mean to private and public drug plans and Canadians as a whole???
