April 17, 2024 1:00 PM to 2:30 PMOnline - Eastern Time
Area of Interest: Pensions Format: Web

This Online Webinar is hosted by CPBI Ontario

In this session, our expert speakers will share their experiences on the WSIB pension plan’s journey to a jointly sponsored pension plan. The WSIB and the Ontario Compensation Employees Union worked in partnership to transform the plan from single-employer sponsorship to the JSPP that it is today.

Attend this event to learn about the many issues along the way and decisions made that led to the final structure for governance, investments, funding, and plan administrator operations under WISE Trust. This profile of the WSIB pension plan’s conversion will be highly informative for those interested in the story of Ontario public sector pension plans and their shift to the JSPP model.
