CPBI Ontario Webinar - National Pharmacare: What to expect?

October 22, 2024 1:00 PM to 2:00 PMOnline - Eastern Time
Area of Interest: Benefits Format: Web

It’s been in the news for several years, and last February, the Government of Canada introduced Bill C-64, the Pharmacare Act, which puts forward the plan for the first phase of national, universal pharmacare in Canada.

While the very laudable goal is to improve the health, wellbeing and quality of life of all Canadians, what is the real scope of this program?

This webinar will provide an overview of the current landscape, the challenges ahead and the ways in which private plans and their stakeholders are affected by this new program. You'll have a better understanding of the complex factors at play, and insights to better navigate the changing landscape of national pharmacare implementation.

Learning Objectives:
  • Get an overview of the status of Canada's national pharmacare Bill C-64
  • Explore the potential impacts of national pharmacare on private plans and their stakeholders
  • Better understand the changing dynamics of the implementation of the national pharmacare program
