An online seminar hosted by CPBI Pacific

Employee Health & Wellness programs are evolving.  Quickly.  According to the September 2022 Benefits Canada Health Survey, 29% of plan sponsors now include a virtual health care (or telemedicine) service as part of their benefits plan offering.  In addition, only 39% of employees are satisfied with the level of service provided by their employer's existing Employee Assistance Programs.

Join us as Jon and Natasha take us through a discussion of how virtual care & EFAP continues to impact the Canadian workplace, what the future may have in store, and why that matters to employers.  We will discuss the key challenges these programs are designed to address and the preliminary results thus far.

Jon Bandringa
Account Executive, Private Sector
TELUS Health Virtual Care

Jon Bandringa is an educator first, as a certified teacher with over 15 years of experience in sales.   An advocate for health and wellness, he joined the TELUS Health team in 2020 once he discovered how the organization was leveraging new technology to improve access to care for Canadians.  His goal is to work with plan providers, consultants, and corporations to find ways to better address the unique health and wellness challenges faced in today’s workplace.

Natasha Binkley
Account Executive, Public Sector
TELUS Health Virtual Care

Natasha has 14 year of client relationship management and sales experience, specifically in the Health and Wellness industry. She started her EAP career in 2008 at Shepell fgi working on large, complex accounts in BC under a Senior Account Executive. She then moved to Ceridian LifeWorks where she had her own book of business - it was here where she really got to build her own relationships and develop a vast network of people in the industry. She sold the most wellness programs and enjoyed helping organizations work towards a healthier and happier workforce. After LifeWorks Natasha spent some time at Pacific Blue Cross transitioning their client’s current EAP provider to Homewood Health, while also creating a robust Health and Wellness program that PBC could offer. Alongside this, she created a Disability and Absence Management program that could be utilized alongside their new EAP.

Natasha then took a slight detour over to The Co-operators selling group insurance for 3 years, where she learned how to keep premiums low for organizations and that they can better manage risk when they have a clearer idea of who they are covering.

She is now at TELUS Health as an Account Executive, specifically on the Public Sector side, and is excited to be a part of an organization that is improving access to healthcare and where members play an active role in managing their own health.
