She provides dedicated Employee Support Solutions account management to support her client’s health and wellness initiatives through programs such as the Employee & Family Assistance Program, Workplace Learning, Cross Cultural Training, Mental Health Awareness, and other relevant services across our lines of business. Dani also has experience in Human Resources Outsourcing and Consulting, providing analytical and administrative support for multiple practices, including Sales & Accounts, Talent & Compensation, Retirement, Health & Benefits, and Investment. Dani started her career as an elementary school Teacher, and has taught in both Canada and the United States. Dani holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of British Columbia. |
| Jan Leighton, Manager of Health & Industrial Hygiene at TransCanada In a 25 year career in the Corporate Health field and 15 years at TransCanada, Jan provides coordination and management of the Health & Industrial Hygiene program. Along with measuring and trending lagging indicators, Health Services focuses on leading proactive health education and injury prevention awareness. The program also includes occupational and non-occupational illness/injury program in both Canada and the US, including Short Term Disability (STD), Long Term Disability (LTD) and Worker’s Compensation account management for the organization as well as the Industrial Hygiene Hazard Control Program. Jan walks the ‘healthy lifestyle’ walk evidenced by completing 29 marathons, 8 Ironman triathlons and numerous cross country ski events, Jan cycles and runs to work and hikes wherever she can. |
