Charlie Allegro 
Senior Consultant, Willis Towers Watson 

Charlie is a senior consulting actuary with more than 25 years’ experience in employee benefits and total rewards consulting. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba. He is a fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and of the Society of Actuaries. He has been employed by Willis Towers Watson since 1990 in positions of increasing responsibility and is currently the Senior Client Relationship Consultant for a number of key client accounts in the Energy, Transportation and Manufacturing industries as well as the public sector. 

 Charlie is involved in all aspects of pension consulting, particularly the valuation, design, funding, accounting and administration of pension plans. He also coordinates other service offerings within Willis Towers Watson for his clients.

Roland Guerette 
Health & Benefits Business Leader, Mercer

Roland is a Principal and serves as the Health & Benefits Office Business Leader. Roland is responsible for executing all aspects of the H&B strategy in Calgary, including client development, client management and overall growth. Roland transferred to Calgary in 2015 from Mercer’s Portland Maine office where he was also a member of Mercer's National Healthcare Industry Solutions Group. 

Roland serves as Client Manager or Lead H&B Consultant on many of Calgary’s largest clients. Prior to working at Mercer, Roland worked for a well known group insurance company as Manager of the Portland Group Sales office. Roland has previously been active on local boards including Maine Employee Benefit Council (past president), Maine State Chamber of Commerce and Maine Health Management Coalition.


Melanie Jeannotte 
Area President, Gallagher Benefits  

Melanie Jeannotte has devoted her career to helping corporations and professionals meet their business and benefit needs. As the Area President for Gallagher Benefit Services (Canada) Group, Inc. she brings 15 years of extensive experience from several National Insurers and large consulting firms and leads a strong team of benefits & pension consultants. 

Melanie works with a diverse client base, partnering with human resource teams in both mid-sized and large organizations across Canada and the United States, to help create tailored Benefit and Pension programs. 
She is a regular speaker and author on benefit trends and business practices, sharing her industry experience and commitment to managing healthcare risks. Melanie is active in the Calgary business and philanthropic community as the founder and Chair of Figure 8, a group of executive women who work in support of local charities. She was named one of Calgary’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2012, has been recognized on the cover of Advantage Magazine as one of Canada’s leading Female Entrepreneur’s and has been recently nominated twice as one of Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women in 2015 and 2016.
